WellCare has been working to implement enhancements to our physician reimbursement policies that promote member health and are aligned with Kentucky Medicaid policies.

Effective June 25, 2023, in accordance with 907 KAR 15:010, WellCare is creating a new claim edit to deny HCPCS code H0038 (Peer Support Services) when billed over 30 hours (120 units) per seven-day calendar week. This edit is based per member.
